Aiming a Second Time

Perhaps this isn’t terribly original, but yes, this bit of web writing is another “Aim” blog by yours truly. I struggled to identify a better name not already in use but realized I really do like the “Aim” idea—it directs the blog and the reflections therein.

So with that, welcome to Israel’s Aim, the web-chronicled story of Laura Beth’s Summer 2009 trip to Israel (and Jordan). I’m not sure how often I’ll post, but when I do it will be for a complete day from the trip as recorded in the journals we were required to keep. (I’m now very thankful we did have that requirement.)

Before I get started, let me thank whoever is reading this for their patience and care—it takes a lot of time to read through these things. I enjoy the telling for my own sake, but I enjoy even more that you read. Thank you.

And so we begin…

(I’m imagining a standard Star Wars opening scene where the camera pans down from open space onto a planet below.)
